The child theme is the best way to make the changes.

Apart from that, we mention the changes we make in the change_log file in the theme.

You can compare between files and see the difference to find exact file difference.

On the “last” change log i see the modification for 1.07 but we are on 1.15.

Kindly check CHANGELOG.md file with any code editor like Notepad++ and you will find the log for later versions.
