Update 4.2.1 – Fatal error – white screen

  • Auto update was supposed to take care of all updates… failed on this one. Attempted reinstall (as prompted by WP) several times & this last time gave me this msg. along with a nice white screen…:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_option_tree() in /home/content/56/7115856/html/wp-content/themes/thecrossingdfw/header.php on line 141

    I’m not well versed in WordPress… and I’m not familiar with all the terminology used by website folks much smarter than me… but would appreciate help toward fixing this issue.

    By the way… I have a dashboard that appears to be functioning properly… just no website.. or I should say our website is a white screen…
    Our website was built using the “Brave Responsive Business” theme.
