I can’t really give you a link because our profile pages are behind a login, for privacy.

I had them working yesterday, updated UM this morning, and poof – profile pages are blank, despite the fact that I have Profile set as the User page.

Help! I have a client who needs to see the progress, and suddenly I don’t have profile pages!

    Brooke

Did the shortcode for the form change, possibly? Or maybe something in the update caused that shortcode not to work anymore?

This happened to me too. It could be your theme version if you’re not updated to your latest update.

All of my themes, including my active theme, are up to date.

    Hi @jbrookechao,

I’m sorry to hear that you have issues with the latest version of the Ultimate member. If it is possible please submit a new ticket on our website (click on “I’ve read the pre-purchase FAQs & want to ask a question”) so we can investigate what’s wrong on your end.

After deactivating all plugins and reactivating them one by one, and refreshing the profile page, it would appear it was a conflict between your plugin and the User Specific Content plugin by Bainternet. Bummer, because I kind of need both, but I guess I’ll have to decide which one to keep.

We really do need to be able to use that User Specific Content plugin, to restrict access to our Student Blog pages and our alumnae page to only logged in users. Any ideas that won’t cause a conflict? You can’t really password protect a blog, so that’s not really an option (you’d have to password protect every single post).

In case anyone runs into the same issue, I found a plugin that doesn’t cause a conflict with Ultimate Member, and still allows me to restrict certain pages/posts to certain users or user roles. It’s WP Private Content Pro. There is a free version WP Private Content Plus, but in order to globally restrict access to our student life blog, we had to go to the paid/pro level.

Yo if I’m not mistaken, you can restrict content (logged in vs logged out users) WITH Ultimate Member. Make sure you have “UM Content Restriction” clicked under Screen Options. Not sure if that’d fix it for you or if the other plugin offers more robust features.
