Update breaks my site

Can you set define( 'WP_DEBUG', true); in your wp-config.php file. This will provide more information about the error.

Can you provide a URL to the site?

I was waiting for further information to help debug.

After plugin update got “The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.” for entire site and backend. Removed plugin by ftp to restore site.

@spaceengine, can you set WP_DEBUG to true and with the plugin active let me know what the errors are?

There is no compression in this plugin. Perhaps something to do with a caching plugin on your site?

Not using a cache and cannot use this busy live site to debug – can’t risk another site crash. To be fair, I updated a few plugins at the same time immediately before the issue happened. I pin-pointed this plugin because others in this thread had a similar issue after updating. I will try it on a test site and see what happens. Thanks for the plugin and your support.
