• updated the plug in and it brings down our entire wordpress site. I had to delete the plug in to recover my webpage, and now I can not re-add the plug in. This is pretty much the straw breaking the camel’s back… ready to move away from Woocommerce AND wordpress, as there are too many layers of complexity here. Anyone looking – check out Wix.com instead. Seamless integration of plug ins, no extra logins necessary, and I’ve never had my site crash

Can you post a support ticket or to the helpdesk? Sounds very much like a 3rd party plugin conflict. There are no known issues like this with the core plugin alone. Thanks.

Same problem here on a XAMPP localhost install. Upgraded from 3.4.1 to 3.4.2 just now and site is trashed. There was an error during the plugin install that said it could not completely delete the plugin folder and then all heck broke loose! The woocommerce plugin was partially empty, I deleted it and copied over a backup, even that was no good.

I do have 3rdParty and my own custom plugin, one of those may be the problem but, 3.4.1 was working fine. Also, why would a 3rdParty plugin cause the woocommerce update to fail?

Maybe the problem has something to do with the 3.4.2 enhancement:

?Enhancement – Permission_id constraint checks on install. #20366
