• Hi,

I’ve updated coblocks on a couple of sites and realized that some carousels are not working like they did before. Border Radius is not exactly working as before since it is applied to the image and not the container. Images don’t lock in place anymore – they always scroll free …

I also get some errors from tinyswiper in the console (on all pages that use coblocks)

Tell me if I can provide more info

    Thanks!

i updated today and my carousel went from being 3 column with 1 big and 2 slivers to 2 full images side by side faded out, dot and arrow nav were non-existent as well. i tried 2.21.0 and it didn’t work at all so i went back further and it worked again.

It is the same issue I reported I guess. I saw a new update is released, 2.21.2. Can anyone confirm that this solves the carousel issues?

@matthewcresto thanks – worked for now. Hope they go back to flickity …

Was just getting ready to post a support statement, but here it is already. Besides what you’ve mentioned here, the other things that broke is the ability to change the order of the carousel items.

Given that CoBlocks seems to be doing fast and furious updating, rather than downgrading to a previous release and waiting for them to work out the kinks, I just changed my carousel plugin to “SimpLy”. It’s nice. It has a fade setting, so I don’t have to do yet more coding.

I really liked CoBlocks because it was intuitive and seemed relatively lightweight. Hopefully they’ll take their time to test everything before rolling out another update, and publish a “how to” statement on fixing existing carousels.

    Cheers
