update broke my search

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

The plugin does search by specified categories.

Have you configured the categories to search in the search form?

If yes then could you please share me the screenshots of it so that I can troubleshoot it?

For screenshots, you can simply provide a link to an image through Google Drive, Dropbox, screencast.com, https://imgur.com/ or other image service. ??

Also, if possible please share your site URL where it is not working.

Does it display all categories If you click on the Reset button of the search form?

Also, please try using the latest released plugin version 4.4.1

yep, I even tried creating a whole new search property, none of my categories show up using the new version 4.4.1
