    Hey All,

While some users with a very specific configuration were seeing this server error in 4.0.0, the issue should be resolved in 4.0.2. Please clear out the iThemes Security rules in your .htaccess file and re-save your banned users settings.

    Thanks,

    broken . linux not windows
cleared banned and htaccess as directed… still broken.
    disabled it completely.. moving on.

My site is also broken after the update, had to delete the plug inn

Just broke my site and locked me out. Had an “Error” message throughout my site and couldn’t access the control panel. Had to change the plug-in directory name just to get back in.

I had the upgrade alert in WordPress. I was not running 4.X so it would be smart to either NOT list the upgrade for sites that are not 4.2 or above by putting a note in the plug-in description that reads – this only works on 4.2 or above.

Had to move on to another tool….
