Update broke UberMenu

  • Recently updated to the newest version but it broke our Ubermenu and I had to roll it back to 2.19.1… obviously we should have our plugins running the most recent update so it would be helpful to find out what is happening.

    What changes were made to the plugin that would effect the things above it (like sliders and dynamic menus)

    I’m going to install the update on a staging site and will edit or add to this post.

    Hi @tabledesigns,

    Thanks for letting us know, sorry for the inconvenience.

    Looking at the recent changes it is hard to say if any change made could have specifically affected menu items, however, I do know that there were lots of changes in the codebase to ensure compatibility with the latest version of WordPress 5.9.

    That said, have you tried the latest version on the staging site? If so, could you please send me an URL link to your staging website as an example of the issue?

    Thank you. I had left it alone for a little while, had other work to do and I tried it again a few weeks later on staging and it was ok.

    Not sure what changed but it seemed to me you all fixed something…

    That said, a new update just came out – I ran it on staging and it’s breaking the Uber Menu again. So, I disabled it and the menu is fine.
