Update Causes Editor Issue

I’m having an issue with being able to switch between Visual and Text tabs in Posts and Pages for our site. The link sent is actually a staging version of the live one so I could test out the normal fixes to narrow down the issue after going to my hosting provider and asking for assistance (they also provide general troubleshooting services for us if we need it).

Here is a list of the things we tried to narrow it down to All in One SEO:

– We rolled back our WordPress version to the previous one. This did not fix the issue.
– We reinstalled fresh copies of wp-config files. This did not fix the issue.
– We rolled back the site’s backup to two days before – this fixed the issue but seeing as there were still updates to be done, this didn’t solve the problem.
– We disabled the theme and put on a default theme. This did not fix the issue.
– We disabled all plugins. This fixed the issue.
– We enabled all plugins one by one. All in One SEO was the plugin that we activated and then the issue started again.
– We rolled back All in One SEO to the version prior to its current version. This fixed the issue.

Obviously we don’t want to keep the plugin to the out of date version, especially since we use ManageWP which automatically updates our plugins every week. I’ve also had this on multiple sites, so I know it’s not JUST this one (I can provide a staging URL for another site we came across this morning that had the same problem).

I did check other forum posts and saw this one (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/last-update-made-visual-editor-error/) and followed instructions there, including the troubleshooting link that was provided by @arnaudbroes. The issue definitely seems to be stemming from All in One SEO at this point.
