Ironically the most recent update that was supposed to address performance issues is causing so much database load that I had to uninstall it. Can you guys please look into it? Thanks.

@jmorti We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue.

Did you receive any indication on your site what the database load was specifically from? For example was there a specific query that was causing the load on the site?

I had to turn it off because it made the backend almost unusable. I might be able to turn it back on and test real quick. Just don’t want to lose a bunch of traffic over this.

    Hello @jmorti!

This is often caused by a conflict with another plugin or theme. You may want to perform a conflict check as well.

The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.`

Tried the troubleshooting plugin and didn’t find anything. It seems to be slowing down all queries.

I’ll just revert to the last version until you guys figure out what’s going on. Thanks.
