Update – Change Author of listing

    Where you attached a screenshot of the author dropdown list, thats where i had figured out you would change ownership but if you open the author drop down menu you only have the original poster, no other users appear. Can you confirm this please is correct, as no other registered users appear in the “authors” drop down menu. If I go to one of the blog posts included in the demo import I can change the author as you suggest, but not the classified listing. On further research the only way I can get a new user on to the CL Author dropdown menu, is to go in and make that user an administrator, then they appear. but that is not a good solution. If i set them as author under administrator privilages I then have to go back and set them as a subscriber again (is this the correct setting for new users in general?) Its a bit convoluted is there an easy workaround the same as blog posts, I dont like setting users as admins, even if it may only be for a few minutes to change an ownership of a listing

    Hi,
    Yes, I checked it. There shows listing owner with administrator user list.

    Thanks for clarifying the process. Yes, moving to administrator then changing way is not good workflow. The feature comes from WordPress default, we will work for it to process in easy way.

    Please, add below code in child theme functions.php file to show all users in list –

    add_filter( 'wp_dropdown_users_args', 'rt_cl_add_to_authors_list', 99 );
function rt_cl_add_to_authors_list( $users_args ) {
	global $post_type;

	if ( is_admin() && class_exists('Rtcl' ) && current_user_can('edit_posts') && ( ! empty( $post_type ) && $post_type == rtcl()->post_type ) ) {
		unset( $users_args['capability'] );
	}

	return $users_args;
}

    Please, mind it that if you have lots of users then this page could be load as slow.
