Update changed my data export fields

  • Sometime in mid October, an update seems to have changed my data export fields causing a duplication when viewed in CFDB. When I set up my forms, fields were called ex_field1 and you could then rename this field (as in ‘ex_field1=CourseName’). But now fields have been changed so that they are named after the actual line in the form. So now the default is ‘what-is-the-course-title’. This is much more intuitive, so I applaud the change, except that it’s made a bit of a mess of my database. Recent applicants are in completely different rows that previous applicants. Any suggestions for the best way of cleaning this up?

    Sorry if the changes caused a problem, but I am not able to provide support for it, maybe he can help on his CFDB support page.

    Thanks for letting me know. I assumed that since I was seeing data export fields within your plugin, that the changes came for your plugin.

    I have the same problem… and I do not think it is a third party’s issue.. consistency is fundamental… if I name a field in a way I assume the date are named the same… !!
