Update Crashed WordPress 4.9.4

This is more of a note than a request for help. The latest update made my entire blog unusable, and so using a file management utility at my hosting provider, I found the plugin directory and deleted it. My website worked after that, aside from the few posts that had polls.

Hope this doesn’t happen to many others.
