Update custom field with API

  • Hi,
    I’m using this plugin to post widgets in posts. When do it manually, it works fine.
    It’s also working with API when custom field with value is already created.
    But i have issue how to update custom field CODE with API?
    New to WP and trying to build automated flow via API, where i can publish post with my widget, which is generating at the beginning of the flow.

    Any help please?

    My goal is to create post with widget in custom field with name CODE via REST API.
    And I don’t understand, how can i provide value to custom field when i create post with REST API.

    I’m sorry, Tina, I still don’t understand the ask here. “create post with widget in custom field with name CODE via REST API.”. So where will the {{CODE1}} tag be added, for example? You’re adding some code to a custom field, named CODE1, right? Can you talk me through, step by step, an example of what you want to do?
