• Hi,
When I do edit my blogs, very often the button UPDATE is deactivated (60% of the time) and I must redo again and again the publishing.
Moreover, regularly this button UPDATE does not even appear anymore in the browser right handside. So need to refresh the page and my work is lost again.
I do not understand what is going on nor what to do!
Am a newbee and need HELP!
    Thanks
    Cheers
    Serge

  • Things I’d do in this situation:
    1) Reinstall WordPress from your Updates screen
    2) Run a security scan using whatever security plugin you have installed. If you don’t have a security plugin installed, get one.
    3) If neither of those lead to a fix, try deactivating all of your plugins and reactivating them one by one to see if a plugin is causing the issue

There is a plugin in the repository complimenting the Site Health feature.
    Health Check and Troubleshooting
The plugin lets you disable plugins and themes in one click (enable Troubleshooting mode) and that happens only for the side admin session. The public facing website stays intact.
Once all the plugins are deactivated and your theme rolled back to one of the default theme, test again if you can update posts.
It probably works. Next steps is to enable your Themes and see if it breaks the functionality. If it still works, it’s probably a plugin that interferes with the feature.
You can enable one plugin at a time and test this action again, until you find the plugin that breaks it.

That’ll help you narrow it down.
    Good luck!

Thanks, actually I just got this message:

There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
Learn more about debugging in WordPress.

What were you trying to do exactly, that triggered the message?

Are you the siteadmin? If yes, what did you find in your inbox? If not can you please contact the siteadmin?

We would need the specific error message to help you.

    Hello
I am Admin but new in WP and I dont know what messages you refer to?

Apparently my problems come from my ISP (Godaddy), because cannot access my website from CPANEL. I get this message while trying to open the website from CPANEL:

We’re sorry, you are not allowed to proceed
Your request looks suspiciously similar to automated requests from spam posting software or it has been denied by a security policy configured by the website administrator.
If you believe you should be able to perform this request, please let us know.

Moreover, in my Godaddy’s products, no access to my webhosting features!

    Dont know the reasons.
    Cheers
    Serge
