Update Error of FREE Plugin

    When I want to update this plugin I get this message:

    Update Failed: You must enter a valid PMPro Plus License Key under Settings > PMPro License to update this add on.

    Is there a known error?

    Can you try updating from the Dashboard -> Updates page. Click the “check again” button first and then try to update the plugin from there.

    It shouldn’t require a PMPro license key to update this plugin.

    If you are able, you can delete the pmpro-bbpress folder from your plugins folder and then install the plugin again through the dashboard.

    IMPORTANT: Don’t delete the Paid Memberships Pro plugin from the plugins page, this will trigger the deletion of data you don’t want to delete.
