Update Errors: v2.3.X and v2.4.0 – Reactivate Plugin to Fix
-
After a recent update, a bug may have caused your plugin to deactivate. To fix this, all you need to do is re-activate the plugin. This may have occurred twice for you. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. It won’t happen again.
You may have seen this error:
The plugin
html-editor-syntax-highlighter/hesh.php
has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.EXPLINATION:
This occurred because I renamed the primary plugin file fromhtml-editor-syntax-highlighter.php
tohesh.php
. This causes WordPress to loose track of the plugin file, and it becomes deactivated.Sorry.
