Add alternative text to existing images

  • Hi,

    on my website I have several thousand pictures uploaded.
    Most of them don’t have the alternative text set.

    Therefore it would be great if your plugin would have the ability to also set the alt text also for the already uploaded images.

    Is the function maybe available in a future version of the plugin?

  • There is a note on the plugin homepage that this is currently not possible and may be added in the future.

    Thanks, I saw the hint.

    Meanwhile I had some time to develop it on my own.

    I added some new functions starting at line 297 and added some error messages in the function aat_get_caption()

    If you like you can include it in the next version of the plugin.

    PS: Please be aware that I strongly not recommend to run it for website with a large amount of images (e.g. > 500 pics) as this can lead to a time-out / disfunction of the webserver!!!
