    I’m a huge fan of your plugin and use it across a series of over 100 community / member sites. On each site we regularly perform multiple uploads of users from external spreadsheet that grow over time, so we naturally select “No” when it comes to “Update existing users?”

    We’ve had a few times where the web manager (many times the end client) misses changing the value No and they end up overwriting existing members information which leads to frustration, confusion and many times they are locked out if their password is overwritten to the original vale from the spreadsheet.

    Can you change the default value of this field to “No”?

    See here: https://www.screencast.com/t/SGh5sSLOVO8

    It’s the safer choice for all scenarios. In UI/UX design, one should use the “safer” choice when assigning default values. If the user wants or needs to update existing users, they should explicitly need to change that field, not the other way around.

    Thank you.

    @blakemiller,

    Thanks for your suggestion. I have just done it and it is included in the new version.

    Soon, all the options will be saved and the plugin will remember any setting you choose in other imports.

    But while we do it, it is a very good way to prevent big problems.
