Update Failed V7

    Hi Malcolm,

    Just tried to update to V7. I have just got the error:

    Update Failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    I seen someone else had this issue earlier but not sure if there was a fix?

    Sorted I believe. Managed to update tonight.

    Yep. Seems OK now.

    Oddly, it also seems to have corrected the erroneous update count. That has always shown one more update pending than the actual number. Maybe just a coincidence or more wordpress weirdness.

    I have recently update updated my hosted website to php v 5.6 and above, previously 5.3. Stageshow gold is now trying to update from 5.1.1 to 7.0.2 but I am getting the following (stage show is at 7.0.2):
    Update Failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    Any ideas?

    I am getting the same issue with 7.1 update

    Stageshow and gold/plus have been combined and upgraded to v8, shortly after I put that message. It now works with php 7.1 for us. Try upgrading the plugin if it is giving you the option.
