• just google wordpress update fails and you get a million, but since I just moved it, I’m sure thats part of it.

    So yesterday, I moved the site, database to a single server I own. This is running on Ubuntu 12.04LTS and this is under the following structure;

    /home/user/websites/domain.com (where domain is the wordpress home folder). I initially tried to download but it prompts for an FTP, user/pass. I enter that, see the connect at the FTP log and then get;

    Unable to locate WordPress Root directory.

    I don’t see a place where I can enter a path, and even made a virtual user and put that home folder as the domain.com with the same results.

    I can’t update the core, nor any plugins, and before I start messing with core code, etc. figured there was an easy fix the group could provide.

    Thanks
