Update fails totally: Blank page & Nothing works anymore

@chip_88 – Have you tried updating when all other plugins are deactivated and you temporarily switch to a default WordPress Twenty series theme?

Same problems like Chip_88

-white/blank pages
-no homepage / no login / nothing!

After deleting NextGEN Gallery per ftp everything works fine.

I never had any troubles with updating a plugin.
