Update failure

Following an advice that there is a new version available I clicked on the update link and got the following note:
Updating Plugin s2Member Framework (1/1)
Downloading update from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/s2member.140409.zip…
Unpacking the update…An error occurred while updating s2Member Framework: Could not copy file. s2member/images/sas-logo.png
Any ideas as to the cause or solution?
