Update field value when Field Group value changes

    Hi,

    I’ve got one request or problem with CFS depending on how you look at it.

    I’m using a select field with values on a Field Group as Category grouping for custom posts. What i’m having problem with is that when updating value at Field Group select, the value doesn’t update on all custom posts.

    Let’s say that the field for Field Group is called faq-category and when I update the value in Field Group I also want all custom posts which had the old value gets the new one.

    Maybe thats impossible to assign when changing on Field Group? Is there any better solution to group custom posts with CFS?

    That came up earlier in development, and it’s not something we’re planning on changing.

    When a field name changes, CFS will automatically update the postmeta to reflect the new name. However, it is much more difficult to change OPTION values whenever they change. Take for example whenever an option gets removed. Lots of people wouldn’t want all the post-values to be deleted too.
