Update from 2.1.1 timeline?

    WordPress 5.7.1 keeps nagging me to update WooCommerce from 5.1.0 to 5.2.2 but I can’t because WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway 2.1.1 has not been tested with the current WordPress version (and has only been test up to 5.5.4 according to your data).

    Is there an estimated release date for an update? Thank you.

    I understand you are concerned about updating your WooCommerce to the latest version due to WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Payment Gateway being not tested with the current WordPress version.

    The PayPal Checkout payment gateway works fine with the latest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce according to our tests.

    Any reason you haven’t officially verified its compatibility with WordPress 5.7.1 so people can update it with confidence?

    I get this message from WordPress when I try to update:

    “The following active plugin(s) have not declared compatibility with WooCommerce 5.0 yet and should be updated and examined further before you proceed:

    Plugin Tested up to WooCommerce version
    WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway 4.7”

    Hi @druekberg, while we test our plugins for compatibility with new releases of WooCommerce, we do not automatically release an updated version of each plugin to indicate this compatibility. The compatibility will be updated in the next release of PayPal Checkout.
