Update from 2.46 to 2.50?

  • Just found out that the current version of woocommerce 3.0 won’t work with my accesspress-lite version 2.46 but there is no update button in the appearance>>themes section. I do have a child theme also and was wondering why the parent theme isn’t being updated to the current version? Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the reply. The new theme (accesspress lite v2.50) is available for download at the wordpress themes page so shouldn’t it be available in the admin section of my website?

    The issues I was having was that I couldn’t edit any pages or posts until I restored my backup. The website seemed to function fine including the woocommerce part.

    The woocommerce notification says that it is an important core update and all themes and plugins must be updated to work with the plugin. I de-activated all plugins and confirmed it wasn’t them.

    All the plugins have been updated so the only thing left is the theme. Until it can be updated from the wordpress admin, I’ll just keep using the backup version as it is working fine as is.
