Update from 2.6 to 2.8

    I’ve tried to update my Ultimate SM plugin on my wordpress site from 2.6 to 2.8 now numerous times and every time it fails and the plugin no longer shows up in my wordpress plugins page. The folder IS there on the ftp site though.

    Thank you for reporting this.

    It could be a permission issue. What is the exact error message you get when it fails?

    Could you please try to remove the plugin completely, and install again?

    It says “Page can’t be found” and then when I go in my ftp to look at the folder the entire folder is completely gone as well as the plug in files.

    Tried reinstalling several times, no avail.

    Ok, so you successfully removed the plugin – good. And then when you try to reinstall it, what error message does it give you then? Also “Page can’t be found”? Does installation of other plugins work?
