update gives socket error

    I have the same problem. After a few seconds this message is displayed with a black background:

    Warning: stream_socket_client() [function.stream-socket-client]: unable to connect to https://browscap.org/stream?q=PHP_BrowscapINI (Unable to find the socket transport “http” – did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP?) in /usr/www/users/maghbopp/wordpress2014.avendoo.de/wp-content/plugins/advanced-browser-check/browscap/browscap.php on line 1026

    Hey,

    Do you still have this issue? Either the website was unavailable or your servers do not have stream_socket_client() available in the PHP setup.

    If you still have issues, please try the latest version and see if it solves your problems. Else I would recommend contacting your hosting provider and ask about stream_socket_client()
