• Hi,
I have just updated Autoptimize on my wp dashboard, however, my site has now broken, looking like serious issues with the CSS. I have deactivated the plugin but the issues are very slightly better but still horrendous looking. I have tried clearing caches and deactivating wp rocket but still cannot get the site back to its previous look.
If I view the site in the customizer it appears as normal, it is just the live site that is affected.
Please can someone help with this urgently as I now have no idea how to get this back working again!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Autoptimize is not active now, as confirmed by the HTML source, all original CSS/ JS is loaded, don’t see 404 errors (at first sight)?

Given the update was _very_ minor and given the site is still broken even without AO, the problem likely is elsewhere, but I don’t see where at the moment :-/

@chrisroberts08 did you say WP Rocket?! If you’re running that plugin, don’t mix. You don’t actually need AO. Rocket will combine and minify the files for you.

AO & Rocket can work great together though, provided the CSS/ JS options in Rocket are off. It can be a great combo, really ??

It looks like you’re using AO without its own caching, but your site seems fine. Can you be specific about the errors?

I like AO very much and use it on multiple sites. It’s very good at what it does. However, there is no need for it on a site that runs a comprehensive caching plugin like WP Rocket.

Life is a lot easier when you have fewer plugins, particularly plugins involved in the same things.
