An important portion of our homepage template generates some content based on the current date compared to a date field in custom posts, so we cannot cache it for longer than one day. We’d like the cache of the homepage to be purged (and ideally, rebuilt) once per day just after midnight.

Is the best way to do this by using the “Scheduled Purge URLs” (using simply “/” as the URL) and setting the time to 12:01 AM? (Rather than, say, setting the “Default Front Page TTL” to 1 day?)

Is there any way to purge just a portion of the page, rather than the entire thing?

Any recommendations for warming the cache of the homepage after purging it?

I thin schedule purge might be better solution , since it will be fixed time , the TTL method may vary from time to time

you can use ESI, but that might be overkill , so use schedule purge is simpler and easier solution.

ideally you should keep cache as warm up as possible

Thank you! Any advice about warming the cache? Perhaps one of these solutions?

    The WordPress plugin “Cache Warmer”:

    Or this cache warmer:
Kitt, the cache warmup crawler for LScache
    https://www.cachecrawler.com

Do you know anything about either of those, or do you have any advice about a different solution?

we usually just recommend our plugin’s built-in crawler
