Update image site changes Static to Post Page

    EVERY time i change an image on the front page, my
    Settings > Reading > changed from static page to latest post. then i get a Page Not Found (since i don’t have any posts)

    and this static page, which i use for front page, in the WP admin Page Panel, the page status is change to DRAFT.

    i use, Siteorgin Page Builder, Vantage Theme, Siteorigin Widgets plus 2 dozen (popular) plugins. been using Siteorgin about 9 months, never happened before.

    i am positive, and i have screen shots of this happening every time i change an image on the front page. haven’t dabbled into updating text, widgets, or other pages because i have no idea what’s going on.

    this is still happening 2 months later. every time i update the home page the system changes the page to a Draft and the Settings front page is changed to Post not longer the Static front page. i posted this on Siteorgin forum 2 months ago and they will not release it so the post can be seen by all. an over site by them or trying to hide a bug from the public?

    without listing all 25 plug ins, i only use plug ins that are popular, thousands of active installs.

    No doubt there, we’ve chatted in the past.

    There was a stage where due to huge Spam attacks we were pushing all our non-Premium threads into Draft status before they were answered. It’s possible yours got caught up in that. Let me dive in and try find it now.
