Update images for each variation change

    Hi there,

    Before I purchase it I would like to know if it’s possible to update the images/gallery every time a variation is changed and not only if all variations are set.

    Example:
    I have a product with three variations: Texture, Type, Size. The product needs to change thumbnail only when Texture and Type update. If I change Texture and Type but leave Size to “Select an option”, the thumbnails won’t update.

    Will this plugin solve this problem?

    Hi,

    If I understand correctly than yes, my plugin can do that. You set the galleries on when images should change.

    But dont take my word for it, test the PRO VERSION in my demo site.

    Thanks for your reply, David.

    The Pro version demo doesn’t do what I need. I have installed the free version but when I go into a product I get

    “Action: woocommerce_product_write_panels is deprecated since version 2.6! Use Use woocommerce_product_data_panels action instead.”

    I am using the theme Shopkeeper if that’s needed.

    Hi,

    IM very certain my pro version does what you expect.
    Just setup a SVI gallery with type + texture then actually care the option “exact match” + “select swap”.

    The notice you get on the free version doesn’t break anything I though i had fix that message ;/
    You can turn of WP_DEBuG to false in wp-config.php

    Thank you. I have turned wp_debug off and when I go to the product’s page there is just the loading icon spinning (product’s images not showing).

    Also, I read on the PRO plugin’s page:

    NOTE: SVI PRO replaces your default theme settings/options for the image & thumbnails area so don’t expect to use any of your theme features for this area.

    Does that apply even if I don’t activate the zoom/slider functionalities? I need everything to be as it is. I only need to update the gallery’s images but I need everything to stay in the same layout/functionality.

    Will that be the case with your plugin?

    Hi,

    None of your theme functionalities for the image area will work. For that reason my plugin has is own “extras”.

    None of the theme functionalities will work because your theme is not prepared to work with my plugin and I cant build a plugin to fit thousands of themes with their customized settings.
