This question may have been asked before, if so, i apologise.

Of the 40 odd plugins I use in our wordpress woo’ site, this plugin requires updating the most often. For the past 6 weeks, it’s had updates available maybe twice a week. 4 times more frequently, than say, the primary WooCommerce plugin, Yoast, or PayPals plugin etc, you get my drift.

Can somebody explain in simple speak why that’s the case please?

Or, if it a problem unique to me, I guess I’ll begin trouble shooting.

EDIT: I should add, our google review status hasn’t changed during the 6 week period.

    Any info appreciated.

    GS

    Thanks for using our plugin!

We release a new version of the plugin after adding new features or fixing bugs. There is no predefined update interval. It is recommended to enable automatic updates of the plugin in WordPress settings. Then, you won’t need do any manual steps for installation of updates.

I hope it answers your question.

Thanks for the explanation about the need for updates, and advice about auto-updates. I guess I was hoping for a user’s theory. In 10 yrs of pretending to understand WordPress, I’ve not witnessed similar. So was/still am curious as to why there was so many updates to that plugin.

    Thanks.
