Hello I have your WP disable plugin (free version) but currently it appears an update message asking me for upgrade if I want to continue use WP Disable.

    This is the message:

“Hay disponible una nueva versión de WP Disable. Renew your license now to access version 1.5.19 features and support.”

I would like to still use your pugin in free version. Please, can you indicate me what can I do. Thanks you

    Regards
    Manel

  • Hello. I also came here to say: Freemius is a piece of sh**, please plugins authors: stop using it.

Just export your settings first. Then deactivate the plugin, delete it, install it from scratch and activate the new version, which is Freemius free. Now import your settings back again and you’re ready to go.

    You’re welcome.

Hi, Freemius has been removed completely, but its forcing that notice, if you disable the plugin first, then update will work fine, or if you update from the WP Updates page, it works from there also

the new version is and always will be free, there is no premium version at all, its a bug and i have reached out to them

    apologies for this

Glad to hear. My first reaction when I saw Freemius in your plugin, was to immediately start to lookup for a plugin replacement. I didn’t found any other as complete as this, so knowing Freemius was removed is a relief for peace of mind. Thanks for that!

The plugin is good. And now all it’s ok. Just go to Updates in WP tab, and try there. Thanks for your answers and attention.

    Hi guys,

My name is Vova Feldman and I’m a co-founder at Freemius.

    The Issue
Like I explained to @pigeonhut via email, this unfortunate issue is happening due to a wrong integration of the SDK which declares that the deployed version is premium and that the plugin has paid plans (an honest human mistake). So the SDK is directed to act as if the plugin is premium and without a valid license the update link is not shown.

    The Workaround
As suggested by @epicscisoc, you can still update the plugin via WP Updates menu item. Just check the plugin and click the update button.

@kent-brockman Freemius gives plugin and theme developers insights they never had before, it simplifies monetization and licensing, and helps reducing support. All of that helps developers to allocate more time and empowers them with data to improve their products for the benefit of the whole ecosystem. We have a strong feedback-driven culture in our company. So I’d love to learn why do you think that Freemius is a piece of sh** ?? I don’t think that this is the right place to have the conversation, so please contact me directly via [vova AT freemius DOT com]. I mean it and looking for your email.

ok @svovaf, my apologies if I was that harsh, didn’t meant to hurt your feelings. I won’t be longer than this, but then I’ve seen several incorrect integrations, cause every time I’ve seen your platform within a plugin, its UI became obstrusive and after a bit of time the author ended retiring the integration. BTW, good job monitoring the social noises ??
