Update killed my site

  • I upgraded to the newest version and now I cannot get into my site and all.

    I was having difficulty editing items and upgraded thinking that might help. Once installed, I am unable to get into my site and get the error message that the site is under maintainance or has a programming error.

    Now what?

  • Is there any chance of anybody helping me out? I’ve had the same problem, basically unable to access the admin panel. I didn’t make the website, a friend did and he’s not been very helpful. I contacted the host who advised me that i needed to rename the maintenance file to maintenance.txt. I had my friend do this for me and it still doesn’t work. I’m still getting a blank page when trying to log in. I’m at the end of my tether with this as i really need to update my site and so far nobody has been able to help me. Would really appreaciate a helping hand from one of you guys!
