Update Message will not Dismiss

    Can you fix the issue of the update message not dismissing despite me clicking on the X?

    The message that goes: Contact Form 7 Captcha plugin updated to support reCAPTCHA and hCAPTCHA.

    It will not close!

    Thank you for reporting the issue. Could you please let me know if the page refreshes or if a new URL opens when you click the ‘X’ to dismiss the update message?

    Nothing happens when the X is clicked. Absolutely nothing. A few other plugins also have such an annoying issue. The issue is further complicated when some sites can dismiss this nag banner, and other sites are unable to dismiss such banners (nothing happens when the X is clicked).
