• I get this message in the Plugins Dashboard of WP: There is a new version of SpeakOut! Pro available. update now. But when you click on the Update Now, it gives a 404 error. I’m not sure how to update then. I do have 4.1.3.1 installed, but I have no idea if this is the current Pro version or not. There’s no info in the FAQ either.

    This sounds odd. You have the free version installed, right? But it is saying to upgrade to the latest Pro version? I am not sure how this could be happening.

    I have the Pro version. It’s saying that the plugin is in need of updating.

    But version 4.1.3.1 is not the Pro version. The current Pro version is 104.4.2

    4.1.3.1 is what shows up in the speakout-email-petitions.php file in the plugins directory. No, I hadn’t seen that. There’s little info on your website, and when the message comes up that there’s a new version of the plugin, it takes you to a 404 page. I’ll try that link, but maybe you could make the info more easily available?

    When you paid for the Pro version, you should have received an email with information on how to upgrade.

    I already upgraded last year. It’s been working fine until now. I would suggest that the issue is on your end. Please consider fixing first the wordpress plugin messages to show how to update the pro version. Then, please add on your Pro page on your website, what to do there.

    I have it all working now.

    Lastly, I did just now upload the latest pro version, but when you do that, you have to change the directory name via FTP and delete the old files.

    Nothing has changed at my end and this is the very first time I have heard of something like this. You haven’t contact me, so even though I would like to investigate, there isn’t a lot more I can do.

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the developer directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.

    As the developer is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
