Updating The Events Calendar to 3.11 on my WordPress site tonight took out my posts and pages in the Admin view. I had to do a restore from a backup earlier in the day.

The first time I ran my Plugin updates tonight there were 7 to do. I ran them all and found afterwards that I could no longer see my posts or pages in the Admin console. So, I did a restore via WP Engine user portal. That brought everything back. I then created a new backup. Afterwards I began my plugin updates one by one, checking my pages/posts after each one. I successfully updated “The Events Calendar Pro” without any issues. But, after I did “The Events Calendar” update I again found my pages/posts missing. Once again did the restore and I’m back in business. But, there is something in your “The Events Calendar” update that can take out our pages and posts. PLEASE EXAMINE ASAP. Thanks!

Hello Dave, i thought the same but it seems that everything is there, you just have to disable the plugin, and you’ll see everything again.

(I should have known, I restore the database and I found that the problem was the plugin was active, I soon as I disabled it, I saw everything again)

Oh by the way, I’m waiting for a response like you, so I can activate the plugin again (I’m using the free one).

Well, that’s good to hear! I won’t have to keep restoring my database! LoL

And, hoping our sharp people at Modern Tribe can get this fixed soon! ??

    Hey @dave4876,

Real sorry to hear about your issues. The 3.11 update has gone smoothly for the vast majority of folks so I’m curious about what could’ve gone wrong here. You mention this in your first post:

The first time I ran my Plugin updates tonight there were 7 to do. I ran them all and found afterwards that I could no longer see my posts or pages in the Admin console.

What are some of the other plugins on your site?

    Thank you!
    George

    Hey @rami,

Just to be clear here, did you encounter the exact same issues as @dave4876 when trying to upgrade to 3.11?

Also, who is your web hosting provider? Is is also WP Engine by any chance?

    Thank you!
    George

    Hi All,

I’m getting the same behavior on one of my sites. The view all posts page shows no posts. I installed Query Analyzer and am getting the following SQL error.

Unknown column '1LEFT' in 'on clause'

Here is the bit of the query where the trouble seems to be…

    AND l.active=<strong>1LEFT JOIN</strong> zouemu_postmeta AS tribe_event_start_date
    ON zouemu_posts.ID = tribe_event_start_date.post_id
    AND tribe_event_start_date.meta_key = '_EventStartDate'
    LEFT JOIN zouemu_postmeta AS tribe_event_end_date
    ON zouemu_posts.ID = tribe_event_end_date.post_id
    AND tribe_event_end_date.meta_key = '_EventEndDate'
    WHERE 1=1

    Many thanks,
    -Tim

Oh….minus the strong tags….let me try that again. >_<…

I do have quite a few plugins installed. You can see an index of them here:

Thanks momnt for your reply. Yes you are right, it might be a conflict with an existing plugin.

I should check it one by one (unfortunately all my plugins are required, so I wouldn’t be able to use this plugin even if I find the confluct)

    cheers

I have exactly the same problem, after updating the plugin I can not see my tickets and neither my pages.

I have solved disabling the plugin but I hope they can fix it soon.

Same here. Installed the 3.11 update overnight, posts, pages and WooCommerce product empty. Seems like a missing space between the 1 and LEFT, “l.active=1LEFT JOIN…” I think.

    Database error produced:

FYI, looks like tribe released an update. Version 3.11.1

I just updated Events Calendar, reactivated it, and the All Posts page is now working again.

    Awesome!

For everyone else (except for Dave, of course, who created this topic) please be mindful of the forum guidelines and please create new topics of your own.

@denisdetaeye I suspect you in particular are facing a conflict with another plugin, there (a multilanguage plugin perhaps).

Dave – how are you getting on – are you all sorted now?

    (@dave4876)

Hi Barry, yes it updated successfully and I can still see my posts and pages in the Admin tool. Glad you found the solution! Thank you! ??

    Barry,

Solved for me too now! So no conflict with other plugin. Thanks!

    D.
