update of theme and child theme

  • Hello Rafax,

    I’m still using your noa theme. I created a child theme to make all of my modifications. I see the theme has an update v.1.3.5 I’m currently running 1.2.10 If I update the noa parent theme, will this break my settings on the child theme? current WP version I’m running: 5.7.1

    If you are using a child theme no problems should occur, that’s why child themes are used. But whenever in doubt make a backup of your site before making changes.
