• I tried to update to 4.5 and the computer crashed. It gave this message:-

  • We’ll update crashed your site . Not your computer .

Secondly . are you able to get to dashboard of your site . If yes. Deactivate all plugins and select 2016 as theme and see if you are getting this error.

If you still get error try manually updating wordpress 4.5 version . Sometimes during update some files are not updated and this can cause an issue. Refer documentation from link below

    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Installing_WordPress

If you site works fine without any plugin and 2016 . try activating theme and see if it it causes issue .

If that does not cause issue . Try activating plugins one by one and check which plugins is causing an issue . Whichever plugin is causing an issue . Either Update it if available or find replacement or wait until it’s updated before using it.

You are right, it is my site that crashed.

I can’t get on the dashboard to remove the plugins. So have you any idea what I do from here?

    Thanks
    Ann
