Update page

  • Hello I need to add some information to a page that I created posts from, however I dont want to do each post individually,, very time consuming. Is there a simple way to do this without having to do each post separately/

  • Do you want to add this text just once on the page? Or to each post? Either way, you’d need to edit the relevant template file in your theme, so it might help if you gave us some idea of the page that you are talking about.

    I created a page and then 50 posts for each state. Therefore I have 50 posts ,I need to update the main page created and then the posts.

    By “the main page”, do you mean your main posts page? Getting the right template file is vital, so it might be better if you just posted a link to the page in question.

    Yea the main post page, is there a plugin for this sort of thing, I had an earlier version on WP and thought I seen a update button but I am using a newer version.

    What version of WP are you using? In theory, you need to make changes to your theme’s index.php template file but, depending upon the theme & the exact changes that you want to make, the file could be loop.php.
