I realized today when writing back to a customer that this plugin doesn’t seem to include refund information–so even though an order itself has been refunded, the generated invoice still shows the payment information instead. Is there any way to show refund info on generated invoices as well?

Hi! In accounting, you can’t just change an invoice that you have already sent to your customer, most governments/tax authorities actually forbid this. You’ll need to create a negative invoice to correct for the refunded amount so that the combined total corresponds with the net amount the customer paid. You can do this manually (for most shops this will be only a handful per month/year), or use the professional extension to create credit notes directly from WooCommerce.

    Hope that helps ??

    Have a fantastic weekend!

@ewout Thanks for explaining! That actually makes a lot of sense, although it still would be nice to be able to export a post-refund version of an invoice as well. Maybe some sort of backend export option that includes the date/cost of the refund instead of the date of the order?
