Update problem (V 0.9.97.13 )

    Hello,

    Before all I would like to thank you about your great plugin ??

    I am finding a small problem today to update the plugin from :

    Version 0.9.97.13 to Version version 0.9.97.37

    I am not able to do it I have this error message :

    Update Failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.

    Can you help me please, by the way I don’t want to loose all my configuration because my website is turning good since years.

    PS : (I am using the last wordpress verion)

    Hi @seoaymen,

    This issue is usually caused by incorrect file permissions on your server (rather than being a problem with the plugin itself). Basically, WordPress isn’t able to properly access its own plugins folder, and as a result, can’t put the updated files in there.

    Make sure that the “wp-content/” and “wp-content/plugins/” directories are set to the recommended permissions.

    If you’re not comfortable doing this yourself, your web host may be able to make the necessary permissions changes for you.
