Update Profile not working

    Ive been through the previous posts on this same issue where the update profile button does not save profile changes.

    I tried reinstalling the plugin, recreating users, setting different and higher privileges to user role, recreating the user page, recreating the profile form with basic fields.

    None of these fixes mentioned by others is enabling the Update Profile form button. Other forms are working fine for registration and login.

    Does this occur with a default WP Theme?
