update resulted in “bool(false)” on every page

Used this plugin happily on my Kadence theme site for a while, but after an update I discovered that there was “bool(false)” text at the top left of every page — home page, and product pages.

When I deactivated this Out of Stock plugin, all the “bool(false)” messages vanished…
