Is it possible to update other fields in the admin Profile Page, such as s2Members text fields?

Ideally I would like to be able to change the “Custom Capabilities” field that is created by s2Members, how would this be achieved on the frontend with your plugin?

    Thanks

    Hello @mikedistras,

I have no knowledge of s2Members at all but if they store the fields in the standard wp_usermeta table then yes, you can manage their text field with our plugin.

What does the Custom Capabilities field from s2Members do ? Send me a link or something.

It is also worth noting that our free version does not have the input field available, so you can’t manage these fields with it. The free version only includes default fields.
You’ll need at least the Hobbyist version of Profile Builder in order to achieve this.

If you have more questions about the paid version of Profile Builder, please open a ticket on our website.

    Regards.

    Hi Georgian,

Thanks foe getting back to me, i found this page on s2members which should help a little: https://s2member.com/kb-article/where-is-the-s2member-data-stored-in-the-wordpress-database/

I was looking at the free version, however I can install the free Select2 dropdown option, which should be able to do the same thing? Just with pre-defined options instead?

s2Members Admin Profile Page (apologies if the above image is very large, hopefully WP forums will resize!)

    Thanks,

    Hello Mike,

The option works with PB Free and the Select2 add-on and I think it could work as you say it, with pre-defined options, try it out.

I still don’t understand that field, I did a search on their Knowledge Base but there is nothing relevant.

What does that field do ? You just enter capabilities in it and they are assigned to the user ? It’s empty in your screenshot, maybe pressing that question mark near it helps in a way.

    Regards.
