• After I upgraded from ver. 2.7 to 2.8 my image upload function stopped working. When use the browse uploader in the “Add media files from your computer” winfow I get this message:

Unable to create directory /nfs/c01/h02/mnt/32895/domains/mydomain.com/html/wp-content/uploads/2009/08. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

It was working before. There is a “domains/mydomain.com/html/wp-content/uploads/2009/08” directory on my web host server. I don’t recognize the “/nfs/c01/h02/mnt/32895/” part of the url, though.

I know this doesnt answer your real question, but that above is the paths above where your directory is.

    This:

    /nfs/c01/h02/mnt/32895/domains/mydomain.com/html/wp-content/uploads/2009/08`

is the full path on the server, you just only see stuff within /mydomain.com
