UPDATE still didn’t fix the extra P tags being added from the classic editor

  • Had to add the CSS code to fix the adding extra empty P tag problem which create spaces between the text. And the second issue is that the tags aren’t there in the text editor of the classic editor. So there’s no tag to even delete but it’s there in the source code. This is the only fix so far. The new update today did nothing.

    Are you referring to WordPress update or update to the Classic Editor plugin?

    Note that as the Classic Editor is now a plugin, updates and fixes come via new versions of the plugin, and not WordPress.     Not sure what it is but many people are having the same problem. Im talking about about the wordpress update itself that must have the editor updated with it. Staff member of wordpress claims its the update.

    Here’s a thread complaining about the same thing and a staff member said this issue will be resolved on the next update. But today was the update and still the P tag issue hasn’t been resolved https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/issue-with-space-added-near-shortcodes-in-wordpress-5-7/
