One question, I am using WordPress with Woocomerce and Dokan, what happens is that the client places their order normally, then for Dokan themes the respective commission is made to each supplier according to the client’s main order.

Let’s imagine that there is chicken in the customer’s order, each chicken costs 14 soles for 1 kg of chicken, that weight is a reference, since after the supplier defines the final weight of the order, it will be possible to know how much the corresponding weight is.

When the customer places the order, the total of the order and the commission corresponding to the seller are automatically established. Taking into account the previous logic, the supplier has sold 14 soles and, discounting his commission, corresponds to 12.60 soles.
However, then it is defined that the weight of the product is 0.9 kg, then the total sold by the supplier would be 12.60, and deducting the commission it would correspond to would be 11.34.

This information is updated by the store manager in both the sub-order and the main order, however, in the supplier’s account it is still reflected that it corresponds to 12.60 and not 11.34, but what has changed is the total amount of sale, that is, at the beginning it was 14 soles, now it is 12.60. I hope I expressed myself well.

Conclusion: Can you help me update the commission database regarding the supplier, if as an administrator I edit the total of the orders in both the main order and the sub-order. Thank you, I appreciate you in advance.

  • Hello @endgula,

I am unable to fully grasp your requirements. It seems like you require a weight-based commission option within the Dokan plugin. Such an option is unavailable by default. Instead, you consider the Product Wise Commission.

Product Wise Commission is the Pro feature of the Dokan plugin. According to the?forum guidelines, we are unable to discuss the premium features of a plugin within this forum.

It is recommended to consult with the Dokan Support team to get further assistance in this regard and get more precise information on your requirements.

    Thanks for understanding.

Sorry, what I’m trying to say is that when I edit a product as an administrator from the sub-order, the commission for that product is not updated on the seller’s desktop.

Taking into account that the commission is 10%

Suppose there is a sub order with a product with a value of 10 dollars and therefore, on the seller’s desktop it is reflected that his profit from that order is 9 dollars.

When I edited that product from the sub order and changed its value by 20 dollars, the seller should see the update of his profit now at 18 dollars. However, this does not happen. Please help
